In short: East Windsor and Hightstown have one of the shorter Newark runs in our area, about 39 miles and usually around 45–55 minutes without heavy traffic, because the New Jersey Turnpike is right at Interchange 8. Ivory Route Limousine provides car service and limo service in both towns, including JFK trips of about 65 miles. Every ride is booked from a written quote you approve.
East Windsor and Hightstown: two towns, one ring
On a map, East Windsor Township forms a ring around the Borough of Hightstown. Hightstown was carved out of East Windsor in the 1850s and became fully independent later in that century, but the two still share a high school, shopping and the same highway access. For a car service, they work as one area.
Hightstown is the compact downtown, with Main Street and the Peddie School campus. East Windsor spreads out around it, from the Twin Rivers community to the Route 130 shopping corridor and the office and industrial sites along Route 571 and near the Turnpike.
East Windsor to Newark airport car service
Interchange 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike sits in East Windsor and links directly to Route 133, the Hightstown Bypass, with Route 33 alongside. That puts most homes within minutes of the Turnpike, and Newark Liberty about 39 miles north. Without heavy traffic, the ride usually takes around 45–55 minutes.
- Pickup. Your chauffeur arrives at the time set in your quote, loads the bags and confirms your terminal.
- Turnpike north. From Interchange 8, the Turnpike carries you most of the way to the airport.
- Terminal drop-off. We drop you at your airline's departures curb. On the way back, we monitor your flight and meet you at the curb or, on request, inside the terminal.
Terminal-by-terminal notes are on our Newark airport car service page. JFK is about 65 miles and LaGuardia about 62 miles, usually around 80–100 and 75–100 minutes without heavy traffic; the JFK car service page explains how we plan those trips.
Route 571 and the business corridor
East Windsor is a working town. Along Route 571, the Princeton-Hightstown Road, Shiseido runs a large facility that serves as a major North American production site for several of its beauty brands. Windsor Corporate Park occupies the former Lockheed property, and LG Electronics has a large distribution center near Interchange 8.
Sites like these bring business visitors who arrive at Newark or JFK and need a reliable ride to the plant or office. Our corporate car service handles single transfers and multi-day visits, each with a written quote. Route 571 also leads west to Princeton Junction station, a short ride for commuters who would rather not hunt for parking; see our train station car service.
Hightstown airport transportation for Peddie School families
The Peddie School, a college-preparatory boarding and day school for grades 9 through 12 at 201 South Main Street in Hightstown, sends many students home by air. Breaks and long weekends mean airport runs, often to Newark or JFK and often with more luggage than a sedan holds.
A parent or guardian can book the ride, share the flight details and the student's phone number, and receive the itinerary and chauffeur details. We confirm the pickup point at school ahead of time. For a group of students on the same flight, an SUV or executive van can carry everyone together, with the cost set out in the quote.
Twin Rivers, Etra and nearby destinations
Twin Rivers is a large residential community within East Windsor, with schools along Twin Rivers Drive. Etra Lake Park sits in the eastern part of the township. We pick up throughout, so include the unit number and entrance notes for condominium buildings.
Nearby, the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham campus sits just across the border in Robbinsville, and West Windsor and Princeton Junction is a short drive west on Route 571.
For evenings out, MetLife Stadium is about 48 miles and Midtown Manhattan about 52 miles, both largely by Turnpike.
Cruises, Philadelphia and the shore
The same Turnpike access helps with trips beyond the airports. Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne is about 45 miles from East Windsor, usually around 55–70 minutes without heavy traffic, so a cruise morning can start at home rather than in a long-term lot. Our cruise port transportation page covers the New York and New Jersey terminals.
Philadelphia International is about 56 miles, usually around 65–85 minutes, which makes it a second choice for most East Windsor flights. Trenton-Mercer is about 21 miles. Atlantic City is about 81 miles, a comfortable ride for a group in an executive van.
