In short: In the Hopewell Valley, the nearest airport is close: Trenton-Mercer is about 6 miles from Pennington. Philadelphia International is about 48 miles and Newark Liberty about 51 miles. Ivory Route Limousine runs car service and limo service across Pennington, Hopewell Borough and Hopewell Township, including vineyard visits and country weddings. Every ride starts with a written quote.
Three towns in the Hopewell Valley
Locals often say "Hopewell Valley" for an area that is really three municipalities. Pennington is a small borough with a walkable Main Street. Hopewell Borough, to the north, centers on Broad Street, with its restaurants and the Hopewell Theater. Around both lies Hopewell Township, which stretches west to the Delaware River and includes the Titusville and Washington Crossing sections.
Much of the township is rural, with farm roads and homes set well back from the road. That shapes how we work here: we confirm the exact address, note whether your chauffeur should wait at the road or come to the door, and allow a few extra minutes on the back roads.
Pennington airport transportation: three realistic choices
Trenton-Mercer (TTN)
About 6 miles from Pennington, usually around 10–15 minutes. The shortest airport run in our area when a flight there fits. See TTN car service.
Philadelphia (PHL)
About 48 miles, usually around 60–75 minutes without heavy traffic. A slightly shorter drive than Newark from the valley. See PHL car service.
Newark (EWR)
About 51 miles, usually around 65–85 minutes without heavy traffic. Often worth it for the wider choice of nonstops and international flights.
JFK is about 77 miles from Pennington, usually around 95–125 minutes without heavy traffic, so we schedule those departures with generous margins.
The valley's western edge also makes Philadelphia an easy evening. Center City is about 38 miles from Pennington, usually around 45–60 minutes without heavy traffic, which puts a dinner, a concert or a game within reach without anyone driving home late. Midtown Manhattan, by contrast, is about 64 miles, so New York nights work best with an earlier start.
Pennington to Newark airport car service
Route 31 bypasses Pennington on its west side, meets County Route 546 and Pennington Road at the Pennington Circle south of town, and continues to I-295. From there, Newark trips use US-1 or the New Jersey Turnpike north. Pickups from Hopewell Borough or Titusville may start on county roads before joining the same highways.
We monitor arriving flights and adjust when they land early or late. Meet & greet inside the terminal is available on request, or your chauffeur meets you at the curb following the airport's ground-transportation rules. Terminal details are on our Newark airport car service page.
Work, school and hospital visits in Hopewell Township
Hopewell Township is home to some large employers. Merrill and Bank of America operate a multi-building campus on American Boulevard, which brings in a steady stream of business visitors. Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell sits on a large campus off Scotch Road near I-295, and relatives flying in to visit a patient often need a ride from the airport. Our service is ordinary passenger transportation, not medical transport.
The Pennington School, a day and boarding school for grades 6 through 12 on West Delaware Avenue, sends students home at every break. A parent can book the airport ride, receive the itinerary and confirm the pickup point on campus with us in advance. Our corporate car service covers business visitors to the township's offices.
Vineyards, farm weddings and valley events
The Hopewell Valley's open land makes it a favorite for celebrations. Hopewell Valley Vineyards on Yard Road in Pennington has been making wine since 2001 on an estate with about 20 acres of vines. A car lets your whole group enjoy the tasting room, and our winery tours can add stops elsewhere in New Jersey or Bucks County.
Howell Living History Farm in the Pleasant Valley section, run by the Mercer County Park Commission, shows farm life at the turn of the 20th century. Washington Crossing State Park, on the New Jersey side of the river, marks where Washington's army landed in 1776.
Each May, Pennington Day fills the borough's downtown with vendors and music. For weddings at farms, barns and private estates, our wedding limo service schedules every pickup and drop-off around your day.
