In short: A car service from West Windsor or Princeton Junction reaches Newark Liberty, about 40 miles away, in usually around 50–65 minutes without heavy traffic; JFK is about 66 miles. Ivory Route Limousine picks up at homes, Princeton Junction station, Carnegie Center and the Hyatt Regency Princeton, and provides limo service for events, always from a written quote you approve.
Princeton Junction station: when a car beats the parking lot
Princeton Junction station at Wallace Circle is a major stop on the Northeast Corridor. NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor Line stops here, the Princeton Branch shuttle known as the Dinky runs 2.7 miles to downtown Princeton, and some Amtrak Keystone, Northeast Regional and Carolinian trains stop as well.
The catch is parking. The commuter lots are run by NJ Transit and the West Windsor Parking Authority, permits have wait lists, and occasional riders often have nowhere to leave a car. A short ride to or from the platform, timed to your train, solves that. Our train station car service covers Princeton Junction along with Trenton, Hamilton and Newark Penn.
Princeton Junction to Newark airport car service
You can reach Newark Liberty by train from Princeton Junction, with a change to the AirTrain at the Newark Airport rail station. It works well for one person with a carry-on. Add checked bags, children, a 5 a.m. flight or a late-night return, and a car that goes from your driveway to the terminal curb is simpler.
By road, Newark is about 40 miles from West Windsor, usually around 50–65 minutes without heavy traffic, using US-1 or local roads to the New Jersey Turnpike. We monitor inbound flights and adjust when they land early or late. For terminal details and how pickups work at the curb or with meet & greet, see our Newark airport car service page.
JFK is about 66 miles and LaGuardia about 63 miles. Both depend on the river crossings, so we choose the route on the day; the JFK car service page explains how we time those trips.
Carnegie Center and the Route 1 offices
Carnegie Center is a 560-acre office park on US-1 with millions of square feet of office space, and it gives many West Windsor companies a Princeton address. Inside it, the Hyatt Regency Princeton at 102 Carnegie Center Drive hosts business travelers, conferences and wedding guests.
That mix creates steady demand for airport and station transfers: a consultant landing at Newark for a two-day meeting, a team flying in for an offsite, a speaker who needs a ride from the station to the ballroom. We pick up at the hotel lobby or the building entrance you name. For conferences and multi-car group moves, our meeting and event transportation service plans arrivals and departures together.
Philadelphia, Trenton-Mercer and Manhattan by car
Philadelphia International is about 59 miles from West Windsor, usually around 65–85 minutes without heavy traffic, so it tends to make sense only for a particular nonstop or fare. Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing is about 15 miles, usually around 20–25 minutes, when a scheduled flight there fits your plans.
Plenty of West Windsor trips are not to airports at all. Midtown Manhattan is about 53 miles, usually around 70–90 minutes, and Center City Philadelphia about 46 miles, usually around 55–70 minutes. A chauffeured car works well when you are carrying presentation materials, traveling as a small team or heading to an evening event that ends after the last convenient train. Our long-distance car service covers both cities.
Mercer County Park, the college and Grover's Mill
Mercer Lake regattas
Mercer County Park covers much of southern West Windsor. On its lake, the Caspersen Rowing Center serves as a U.S. Olympic training site for rowing and hosts regattas that bring teams and families from across the region.
Mercer County Community College
The college's West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road draws students, visiting speakers and audiences for campus events.
Grover's Mill
Van Nest Park holds the monument to the 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast, which placed its fictional Martian landing here. It was dedicated in 1988.
Regatta weekends are a good example of group planning. A van can shuttle a crew between a hotel on US-1 and the boathouse at set times, and we can quote the whole weekend at once.
