In short: Newtown, PA is about 38 miles from Philadelphia International, usually around 50–65 minutes without heavy traffic, about 59 miles from Newark Liberty and about 9 miles from Trenton-Mercer. We provide car service and limo service in Newtown Borough and Newtown Township from our base across the Delaware River in Mercer County, New Jersey, by reservation and from a written quote.
Newtown Borough and Newtown Township
Newtown is two municipalities with one name. Newtown Borough is the historic core around State Street, whose central shopping district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Newtown Township lies around it, with Sycamore Street's shops and restaurants, residential neighborhoods and part of Tyler State Park.
Our chauffeurs come over from New Jersey for each reserved ride, so booking ahead matters more here than in Mercer County. Tell us whether the address is in the borough, near the Newtown Bypass or out toward the state park, and we plan the approach.
Newtown to Philadelphia airport car service
For most Newtown flights, Philadelphia International is the closest major airport, about 38 miles and usually around 50–65 minutes without heavy traffic. Rides head south toward I-95, and the timing depends mostly on the I-95 corridor through Philadelphia. Weekday mornings, evening rush and big games at the South Philadelphia stadiums are the times to allow extra margin.
We monitor arriving flights, so your chauffeur adjusts if you land early or late. Meet & greet inside the terminal is available on request; otherwise your chauffeur meets you at the curb. Our Philadelphia airport car service page has terminal details.
Center City Philadelphia is about 28 miles, usually around 35–50 minutes, an easy run for dinner, a concert or a game when nobody wants to drive home.
Newtown, PA to Newark airport car service
Newark Liberty is about 59 miles from Newtown, usually around 70–90 minutes without heavy traffic. It earns the extra distance when it has the nonstop, the alliance or the international flight you need. The usual route takes Route 332 to I-295, crosses into New Jersey on the Scudder Falls Bridge and continues north.
The Scudder Falls Bridge charges an all-electronic toll only on Pennsylvania-bound traffic, so it applies on the way home. Any tolls on your route are listed in your quote. See our Newark airport car service page for pickup details.
JFK is about 84 miles and LaGuardia about 82 miles, each usually around 105–135 minutes without heavy traffic. For those, we set pickup times with generous margins and check bridge and tunnel conditions on the day.
Closer to home, Trenton-Mercer Airport in Ewing is about 9 miles away, usually around 15–20 minutes, when a flight there fits. If you have meetings across the river in Mercer County, we handle those trips too, and Midtown Manhattan is about 72 miles, usually around 90–115 minutes, for a day in the city. For multi-stop days, one car and chauffeur can stay with you throughout.
Schools, the college and the theater
Newtown Theatre
At 120 North State Street, a 300-seat theater that has shown films since 1906 and also hosts live theater and concerts.
Bucks County Community College
The Newtown campus at 275 Swamp Road includes the 339-seat Zlock Performing Arts Center and the Hicks Art Center Gallery.
George School
A Quaker boarding and day school that opened in 1893. It carries a Newtown address, though most of the campus is in Middletown Township.
Boarding students flying home at the end of term are a regular trip for us. A parent or guardian books the ride, receives the itinerary and chauffeur details, and we confirm the pickup point at school in advance.
Market Day, Welcome Day and Tyler State Park
Newtown's calendar has two big street days. Newtown Historic Market Day, run by the Newtown Historic Association, is typically held on the first weekend of October, with Court Street closed to traffic. Welcome Day turns Sycamore Street into a street fair with well over a hundred vendors. On those days, we drop off and pick up at the edge of the closures.
Tyler State Park covers 1,711 acres in Newtown and Northampton townships, with its main entrance at Swamp Road and the Newtown Bypass, Route 413. If you want wedding or engagement photos there, check the park's rules on photography first; our wedding limo service can then build the stop into the day's timeline, and our hourly chauffeur service covers celebrations with several stops.
Nearby, we also serve Yardley and, across the river, Pennington and Hopewell and Ewing.
